Evaluations and Testing Batteries

Chatterbox offers a variety of testing batteries and comprehensive evaluations for concerns in the following areas:

  • literacy: reading, writing, comprehension, spelling, phonological processing

  • early developmental skill acquisition; cognitive-linguistics, social-emotional, communication, and adaptive skills *screen for autism and other neurodivergent learning profiles

  • language skills (comprehension and verbal expression)

  • social pragmatic skills (peer interactions, conversational skills, non-verbal language *screen for autism and other neurodivergent learning profiles)

  • articulation: speech sounds and articulation, being understood

  • feeding and eating /mealtime behaviors/ extreme pickiness

  • $450 NOT billable to MOST insurances (Medicaid and CHP+ only) (3× @ 1hr visits + written summary * screen for Autism and other neurodivergent learning profiles) Comprehensive Evaluation of cognitive-linguistic, social,-emotional skills, communication (comprehension and verbal language,) and adaptive/daily living skills.

  • $325 *NOT Billable by MOST insurances (MDCD and CHP+ only) Evaluation includes: (2x visits @ 1hr + written summary) assessment of language comprehension (following directions, understanding concepts, vocabulary) and verbal expression (using grammar, vocabulary, narration skills )

  • $150 *NOT Billable by MOST insurances (MDCD and CHP+ only) Evaluation includes: 1x @ 45min visit + written summary)

  • $275 *NOT Billable by MOST insurances (MDCD and CHP+ only) Evaluation includes: ( 2x visits @ 1hr each + written summary) Observation of Mealtime/Clinical Impressions, Assessment of mealtime behaviors, aversions, and oral processing (chewing and swallowing) of food.

    • $425 NOT BILLABLE TO ANY INSURANCES (2-3x 1hr visits + written summary of findings: Comprehensive testing including reading comprehension /written expression, reading fluency, phonological processing skills, and writing/spelling skills, letter/number reversals.

  • $200 NOT Billable by MOST insurances (MDCD and CHP+ only) Evaluation includes: 1-2x @ 60min visit + written summary, *screening for Autism and other neurodivergent learning profiles
